Headliner Music Club grabbed Japan-based DJ/Producer DJ Lead to set off February's Featured DJ Playlist for our HMC members.
About:
From getting his start behind the decks in 1998 to becoming one of Japan's most prominent DJs, the Heavy Hitters DJ continues to rock as their only Japanese member. In 2013 Lead also made great strides in the US becoming HOT 97's first international DJ to join its station, even taking the stage at their iconic SUMMER JAM concert the following year.
When he's not in the studio or putting out celebrated projects with Universal Music Japan like his Def Jam 30th Anniversary prologue, Lead can be found spinning at Japan's most premiere club, 1OAK Tokyo. In 2018, the established open format DJ celebrated 20 years of the craft by touring the United States, Asia, and even Europe.
